Established in 1998, the Liquitherm Technologies Group (LTG) is a leading global chemical engineering company, specialising in the formulation and manufacture of pioneering heat transfer fluids, glycol formulations, antifreeze solutions, corrosion inhibitors, and water treatment chemicals.

Through expert knowledge of process and hydronic systems, LTG have built an enviable list of blue-chip clients across many business and industry sectors, including food & beverage, renewable energy, manufacturing, automotive, power & utilities, agriculture, healthcare, data centres, and retail.

Utilising over 100 years combined experience in all aspects of cooling and heating applications, LTG’s team of chemical, mechanical and sales engineers are ready to assist with all aspects of thermal fluid performance, running costs, environmental impact, compatibility, and energy efficiency.

To complement their core product range LTG work in partnership with designers and manufacturers of specialist equipment, to develop bespoke working fluid formulations and water treatment chemicals for their unique applications.

To build market share, Liquitherm operates an extensive and ongoing Research & Development program. Many R&D projects are run on a collaborative basis to develop bespoke thermal fluid solutions for new cooling & heating systems, or to solve existing issues within existing products. Typical examples of which include;

• Non-toxic high efficiency fluid for pilot cooling systems, as used onboard Lockheed Martin’s new F35 Lightning II multirole fighter jet.
• Non-aqueous engine coolant for the MOD’s Special Air Service rapid deployment vehicles.
• Ultra-low environmental impact stern tube lubricant, for vessels operating in or around US territorial waters.
• High thermal efficiency coolant for use in scalp coolers, as used during chemotherapy treatment.
